This is a Pokemon Chant Composition template for 3rd Grade and older. Students compose their own 24-beat Pokemon Rhythm Chant, with each Pikachu representing one beat. They use arrows to show that notes are held for more than one beat through more than one Pikachu. They are to utilize the word bank on page two, to create the chant matching words by syllable to note value length. There is a line under each helmet for students to write the words they choose under their note values. The syllables in the words should represent the number of beats each word gets. Note values included are: quarter notes, quarter rests, barred eighth notes, half notes, half rests, dotted half notes, whole notes, whole rests, and sixteenth notes.
